We just moved here from ohio and I am looking for a youth football program for my 6th grade daughter to cheer for them. I have been told about pop-warner but can not find where they have cheerleaders on their website for this area. She will be going to South Charlotte Middle School and that is the area I would like to stay in. I was told to check out Olde Providence Rec but they don't have cheerleading for football only basketball. She is also a basketball player and will be doing that in the fall as well. I would appreciate any info anyone could give me.

Check MARA Cheer - News but their registration just ended on Saturday but you may get lucky if you call today. also check WCWAA Cheerleading in Weddington (up to 12 yrs old) and their registration ends 6/31). I'm a former Ohio resident (CLE) and I'm sure you will like Charlotte.
Thank you so much for the information. It was very helpful. Hopefully I can get her in the mara cheer. It would be much closer. Plus one of my patients today told me about it and said that there are lots of kids that go to South charlotte on her son;s baseball team that is affliated with mara. I really appreciate your help. I know we will love it here just very homesick right now but I know I wont be when there is a foot of snow on the ground.
