Hello all! The last time I posted I had recieved a lot of help...but our move did not work out...hopefully this time will be better Looking to see if anyone has any recs for apt complexes near lake wiley area and steele creek...my bf will be working in downtown financial district I will hopefully be working in Weddington...we are from nyc so we are looking for a safe place in the middle as both of us will be working...Thank You all in advance

If you are working in Weddington and he is working uptown, WHY do you want to live in Lake Wylie or Steele Creek??? That's nowhere near the middle.

I checked on google maps and it looked in the middle...what areas would you recommend we look at?

I would say Matthews and the areas directly west of there (Providence Rd, Rhea Rd, etc) would be much more central to your job in Weddington and his job uptown.

I would agree - this would be much better for a commute to both those areas. Also, the Southpark area towards Providence would work for you, as well.

o would look in the matthews area since independence blvd or monroe rd would take 15-30 minute drive downtown and same to weddington matthews runs from independence and sardis north east across 485 and the area has shoppes and ammenities close by

+1! DH and I lived there when we first moved to Charlotte. You get a lot of space for your money.
