The weather has been incredible this week. This morning, Charlotte recorded a low of 57 degrees, just two degrees shy of a record. The mild temperatures and low humidity are a splendid July treat. Enjoy.
But what happened to the rain? Are we going back to the drought problem we had a year ago? I hope not, so does my lawn.
No...we're very far out of a drought right now. It would take months of little or no rain to even start looking at a mild drought. July through November-ish are typically the dry months for our region. We've actually been nearly right on par with a "normal" year.

Of course, the minute somebody mentions it, we are now getting some heavey rain moving through...no complaints though, this past week and weekend were BEAUTIFUL...it felt like Mid Sept not July.
