I am making a built in desk in a closet of a spare bedroom, and would like to have an electrical outlet placed in there. There is an outlet right outside on an adjacent wall.

Does anyone have any idea how much this might cost or an electrician that they would recommend? Thanks!

Van Preston: 704-782-9392. They were always fairly affordable when I used them. They are licensed, bonded and insured. I'm guessing around $100 or so. It will depend on exactly the conditions of the install but it's shouldn't be outrageous. You may even be able to call them and get a ballpark figure over the phone....
