I am looking for a day care center with bettter than 1:6 teacher:student ratio. I live in the Palisades subdivision off South Tryon near Lake Wylie. I checked out The Godddard school in fort mill. I came away impressed. If anyone has any experiences to share or suggest another day care?? I know there are other day care centers like carolina kids and such in fort mill but they seem too out-of-the-way for my daily commute. I need to be able to get on I-77 N or I-485 N for my drive to Huntersville every morning. Thank you

I don't have children but I'll try to help you out. I know a Gateway Academy just opened a few weeks ago. It is near Whitehall, on Arrowood Rd. in between S. Tryon and 485.

Gateway Academy

Here are child care centers in the 28273 zipcode

there will also be the Primrose School (Arrowood Village - Arrowood & 485) and the Learning Center (same spot almost, but across the street).

They aren't open yet, but will be soon. Don't know anything about them, but they may be worth checking out.

My mother owns the company...
This is in Charlotte. The children learn a lot- we use Mother Goose Preschool Curriculum ..the program made several changes...

Your center is not in the direction the OP is traveling.
