Where I live in NJ the ticket prices at one local multiplex is getting very expensive. In the area of NC we are looking there are 3 theaters. Just wondering if anyone knows the ticket prices there. Just curious.

-Cinemark Movies 10 (Matthews) Looks to play movies from a few months ago.

-Regal Crownpoint 12

-Regal Stonecrest 22

Thanks!!

I think $7.50 is the norm.

I was curious too, so I looked up Cinemark online,

Cinemark - Showtimes

it appears if you buy your tickets online ticket costs are as follows
All Shows $1.75
Fri/Sat evening after 6pm $2.25
Tuesday Discount All Day $1.00,
all tickets bought online also have a $1 service charge (per ticket) still a great deal!

The Regal 12 prices (clicked on to buy for evening show tonight....), AND Stonecrest :
Adult: $9.25
Senior: $7.00
Child: $6.00

Ayrsley Cinemas is cheaper than most by $1.00 or so. AMC has all shows Mon-Thursday for $6. Ballantyne Village Theatre is more expensive and you can even get reserved leather seating. Most theatres have the first show of the day (even on weekends) 4-5.

This sounds like a place that opened in CT just before we moved away...we never did get to try it out, but sounds nice if we ever get a chance to go out with just us grown-ups, DH and I would enjoy that now to find a good babysitter for DD8 and DD11 (very special needs, so need a very special babysitter!).

Yeah the cafe movie theaters are popular (which are different than BV Theatre). It basically works like a comedy club. You place your order before the show and get your meal before it starts. There aren't any around here. I know there are some in the DC metro.

They already have that here in the Pacific Northwest. Leather family room seating with leather automons to put your feet up. They have waiters that will bring you real food and alcoholic beverages. The movies are all in HD which is really cool. I was hoping Charlotte would have something similar. I have gotten use to it, even if it cost a little more.
