Congrats to France Sr. and Jr., "The King" Petty, Dale Sr., and Junior Johnson for being the first class of legends inducted in to the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Can't wait to visit the venue when it opens in May 2010.
I couldn't agree with everyone more! Terriffic choice of inaugral inductees. My hubby did some work there in the building a few months back and said it is going to be sooo nice when it is completed! Can't wait to see it up close & personal!
Me, too. I think it is a great addition to the area and a real honor to be able to pay some tribute to the people who both created and grew the industry.
Persoanlly I think they built the HOF in the only city/state it should be---with all of the race teams here and the history! Sure hope it brings in the tourists. Looking forward to checking it out!
