one month a year of weather, would it be January or July?

January.

If the choice had been January or August, I would've voted for August, the ickiest buggiest month of the year!!!

If you want to remove July/Aug weather move about 400 miles north. Of course, you have to trade it for an extra Jan/Feb... lol

I wouldn't remove either. I love January and July is as southern as pickups and dixie cups.

July, but preferably August. I try to stay overseas in a cooler country starting in June. The thing is, it is cooler in New England, but not in New York, New Jersey and other Mid Atlantic states are not much better than here. The thing that is better in this area compared to Florida is that we have cool evenings and mornings where it is possible to get out and walk, run, bike or whatever. You can't do that in comfort at any time in Florida. I think that this area has relatively good weather with great Falls, Springs, and Winters. In my humble opinion, the best weather in the U.S. is specifically found in San Diego.
