I would love for everyone to list one thing they dislike and one thing they love about Mooresville. I know everyone is thinking "traffic" as their dislike so name something else....

I dislike the traffic. Haha, jk, well, im serious, but...ya know.

I like The Point area, beautiful homes, beautiful landscaping, etc.

Mooresville is a clean place to live (well kept) and the home values arent too bad (coming from FL). I also enjoy the lake living. I think if they widen the roads and limit how many entrances and exits they have coming out of the strip plazas it would alleviate a TON of traffic...

LOL You're from the Ft. Lauderdale area? We're coming from Vero Beach. Can't wait...I'm sure you know what I mean. How do you like the area?

Dont get me wrong, it has its ups and downs. But compared to FL, we simply love it. People are alot friendlier and courteous. The landscaping and neighborhoods are clean. Traffic sucks, but thats anywhere. I think the growth superceded the engineering of roadways. Sooner or later that part can be fixed.

We opted to stay just outside of Mooresville, about 7-8 miles west on HWY 150. It's a little quieter out there and we could afford Lake Norman property out that way, whereas Mooresville was way out of our range.

I use to work with a guy who lived in Mooresville. His take, hated that I-77 was only 2 lanes to and from Charlotte. Liked the beauty and nearness to the lake.
