I currently live in Milwaukee looking to move to Charlotte. I've found four homes I'm very interested in. I want to find out more about the areas before making my choice. Address 1) 11134 Nolet 28215
2) 6327 Park S Dr 28210
3) 5005 Eagle Creek Dr 28269
4) 8801 Norway Court 28269
1 Which would be the better location to raise a family?
2 Which neighborhood has better public elementary schools?
3 How far are the hospitals?
4 How is the crime in these areas?
5 Are any malls close by?

I agree Though none of the locations is bad, I believe the one on Park S. gives you Beverly Woods Elementary as your home school - which is the best school option.
It is also right down the street from South Park Mall (literally 2 minutes away) and within easy commuting of the uptown hospitals (perhaps 10 minutes or so).
Nolet Dr. is in a family-oriented neighborhood with swimming pools and tennis courts, still in the county - so no city taxes yet- but will most likely be annexed in next few years. Good neighborhoodl association. Clear Creek Elementary is elementary school.
The value of the home you buy will be reflected by the schools in that area. If you are using public schools, I would visit each one you intend on sending your kids to and make up your own mind.
Good luck with CMS, your child will be changing schools like their undies.
IF your children only change their underwear every 3-5 years... but other than that it's a perfectly valid simile.
Really When people say stuff like that I have to wonder if they even have kids!
My neighborhood (before we moved!) has had the same high school assignment for 30 years. But then, I lived in a very established area, built out without any new construction homes nearby. Most of the time when kids get reassigned to another school it's because a new one has opened. If you live in the newest outer reaches of the county you may have to change schools once, but really this doesn't happen every year or anything.

I totally plan to visit a few schools before making my choice. But I also didn't want to waste time in areas that aren't worth it. I've heard good and bad things about CMS. Honestly more good than bad.
Can anyone tell me about the 28269 area? Is it more country than city? How are the neighborhood schools? Thanks All!!
It can be hit and miss, you'd want to be careful and check out schools on greatschools.net. Though all the areas on your list in this zip code are okay It has a suburban feel.
