I know that they have these research studies going on at Duke in Raleigh but I can not get anyone there to call me back. I understand that there has been great success with building up at least a tolerance to peanuts in children who have this allergy. I was hoping maybe someone here knew of a similar study that maybe going on in the Charlotte area or could suggest a pediatric allergist. Thanks in advance!
I don't know about trials, but I bet the group Parents of Allergic Kids (Pak) would. You can become a member and they send you information and you can interact with other parents and ask questions. The website is Page 1 I know of at least one registered dietitian involved with the group as well. Keep trying Duke, I also know 2 people that have gone through the allergy research program there for their children and rave about how great it is. Good Luck!
