I'm looking for a basketball trainer for my 13 yr old son for 1 on 1 coaching that is located in south Charlotte or Matthews area. Anyone have any recommendations and what kind of cost are they charging? I find fees ranging $30-50/hr.

Eddie Oates does one-on-one training with kids of all ages. He's great and is really great with kids. He's played at every level and was offered a tryout with the Bobcats. Plus, he is just a really nice guy. You can get in touch with him through Coach Mac at YesICanBasketball.com or at eddie_oates@hotmail.com Not sure what he is charging right now though.

I was getting ready to suggest Eddie Oates, but someone beat me to it.

I think he is 50.00 per hour. He is a great all around guy.

I would also Suggest Muggsy Bogues, He's a great guy and he knows the game really well. He has recently begin working out with several kids.

My daughter has played in the Yes I Can Basketball leagues a few times, and Coach Eddie is fabulous!

Does anyone have a suggestion for a personal basketball trainer in the Triangle area (especially Chapel Hill or Durham)? Thanks!
