Lisa Ling in Charlotte (Tryon: eat, camera, diner)

While I was at the St Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday I noticed that Lisa Ling was being filmed at the corner of Trade and Tryon. She just had the one camera man with her and they were not filiming the parade just filming her talking straight to camera I wonder are National Geographic doing a piece on Charlotte?

I saw a blurb (somewhere) now I cannot find it. That she is filming a National Geo special called Narco State. It is filmed in I think Mexico...Arizona...and Charlotte. It will air sometime in March. :-(

That show airs on March 28th. It seems like they would already have it in the can but what do I know about show production? Not really a show you want you city highlighted in, though.

Lisa Ling and the film crew were taping at Big View Diner on Saturday morning. Just recording them eating breakfast and talking...about narcotics I now presume.

The show is most likely finished. However, it is extremely likely that they were taping/filming "wrap-arounds" &/or promos for the show.
