Big news for the Queen City coming out of baseball's All-Star weekend as the commissioner of Major League Baseball says our city could be an option if the league decides to add more teams.
"We will be a Major League Baseball city," said Michael Smith, Charlotte Center City Partners CEO. "I have no doubt of that."
Smith sees the potential and so does MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred.

Charlotte named as MLB expansion possibility

LOL, Smith also said:

"I think it's measured in decades right now," Smith said. "I think we're probably a couple decades out."

Thats not really big news.
