Whoa! Didn't notice the thread got a second page!
@Neuling, no need to worry about our gastronomical requirements (although I enjoyed very much the lively discussion!). With two toddlers around we mostly eat bland in home. But if we end up in Charlottesville we'll surely check out what's around. Thanks for the info about the hotpads website.
@allandall, it's a French model, actually.
It's Citroën, does have the best emission ratings as far as diesel cars in Germany are concerned. The links to the car imports/registration websites are much appreciated, will check them out. Thanks also for your direct message on this issue.
