I drove past this place last night and it was packed. Not a parking spot to be found. I've never heard of it. Can you get good deals here?

never been, but heard it is the place for book bargains. Our very frugal friends drive from Red Bank for all the latest titles

I go about every 2 months and spend around $100. It's one of my MOST favorite places to hang out. The books start @ about $.50 and up. You can get just about anything that's been printed and they are sectioned quite nicely. We also get DVDs and video games there. Check it out sometime. If they had coffee noone would leave

I live in McMinn County and we drive down every few months to buy a carload of books. You can seriously find good bargains on so many different kinds of books, CD's, movies, etc. It is busy and stays packed, but is well worth it. If you go, plan to spend a lot of time there. I could spend hours and hours in McKays! I always come out with a huge bag of books for 20-30 bucks. I love their kids books too....reasonable and good condition.

Try it! It may become a regular hangout for you. If I was in Chattanooga, I'd go every week.

Can somebody post an exact street address for those of us who are just frequent Chattanooga visitors? Thanks!

Dang, wish I knew about this place when we were in Chatt last month. Hubby and I have been looking for several titles without having to pay the new price.
We have a place up here (Tri-Cities) called Mr.K's and it sounds similar but it takes them a while to get new inventory.

Being a "voracious" reader myself, this place sounds great!

Thanks - that is actually pretty convenient to my parent's house, so we'll check it out the next time we come up!
