Any particular part of town you're interested in? I know of several in the East Brainerd area. A few of them have rather large signs advertising the fact that they don't use ethanol.

Originally, stations bragged about adding ethanol because of the attitudes toward foreign oil. Now, more and more people are figuring out that 1) it can mess up older engines, 2) you get slightly reduced fuel economy on 90/10 (gas/eth) with GREATLY reduced fuel economy on 15/85, 3) ethanol from corn really isn't that "green" because of the fuel used to produce and ship it, and finally, 4) all that corn used to make our cars go means less corn to feed ourselves and livestock, meaning food prices go up. So stations are now bragging about not using ethanol.

Does anyone know any in the Hixson or Soddy Daisy area? I had a list of some, but they seem to now be carrying gas w/ 10% ethanol.

Default Ethanol free gas

The shell station I buy from added ethanol back into their gas, they used to be ethanol free. I noticed new stickers on their pumps that said all grades now had up to 10% ethanol. I asked the owner and he said by the end of this month most stations would be required to sell blended fuel, not sure how accurate his information is.

What stations in the Chattanooga area are still selling real gas? My car runs terrible on the corn syrup mix, and gets lousy mileage, but with ethanol free gas the engine is smooth as can be.
