Beautiful. I may have to check one out after I get my son through college.

I love the looks of it, except for the tail lights. The interior looks like it's miles ahead of the C6. Maybe this will drop the C6 prices just low enough for me to make a move.

Then again, I'm quite satisfied with my C5 Z06 and playing the mod game with it.

My personal favorite has always been the C3's, though with the big long hoods and sexy lines. They're definitely affordable these days. The convertible C3's aren't cheap, though.

C3's were a low point for Corvette performance though, there were some early big block models but the late 70's and early 80's were very low HP! The early 90's is when the Corvette came alive again (300 HP in 1992 w/LT1). ZR1's were 375 HP in 1990 but they were a lot rarer than the stock Corvette but a nice ZR1 today can be had cheap since many people preserved them!

Here is a 1990 ZR1 w/31K miles asking 21K on ebay!

I have shopped for a Corvette for years, passing on previous versions and spending quite a bit of time driving a C6 which is tremendously capable but just not comfortable for me.

The C7 looks to be a great value and I look forward to driving one... but it won't be soon since the 2014 run is already sold out.

If I won the Lotto I'd get a 2014 Stingray with the carbon fiber options, navigation, I think LS3 option or so and it'd cost $70,000. That's cheap compared to a $160,000+ 911 Turbo.

I like the new design of the rear, too. I'd get my car in red with red painted calipers, too.

I actually visited the Bowling Green Corvette Assembly plant back in 2006. No cameras inside though.

No offense intended, but if I win the lotto, I would be looking at something far more than a $70k Stingray.
