I'm very interested in buying a Camaro. Any current owners or past owners advice would be helpful. TRUE gas mileage. Maintenance cost. Performance good or bad. Any info would be helpful.

Almost forgot any pricing info. Good place to purchase. Thanks in advance.

Find a Camaro forum and ask there, much better place to ask. I wouldn't ever ask car specific questions on here, speaking of that I'm heading to MBworld to ask a few now.

Keep in mind that the new Gen 6 Camaro is about to be released as a 2016 model year.

There are massive discounts available on the 14s/15s as a result so you can get a great deal, albeit for a soon to be dated vehicle, so what you gain in purchase value you will also lose in resale value.

Gen 5 Camaros are generally good vehicles but they come in many trim levels, from the base cheapo model to the limited edition Z/28 (which I owned and recently traded in for a Vette Z06) ... so prices are going to range quite a bit depending on what engine and options you want.

Camaro5 forum is a good place to get info.

The wife has a '13 RS bought brand new. Sticker was $31K with 20" wheels, MyLink, leather, fog lamps, backup cam etc (LT2 I believe was the specific model).

In her V6 she averages 23mpg mixed driving and loves every second of owning it. I will also say it is rather fun to drive.
