Yep the GM cars built from the mid 60s to the mid 70s and Ford motor company cars built from the mid 60s to 1978 are by a order of magnitude superior than the newer cars.

I sure wish they can make cars as big and stylish the way they did back in those days, I miss the days when you could tell what kind of car it was even from a distance

It sure was easier back then to identify a car.

Even a nearsighted person could notice the difference between a '66 Chevy and a '66 Ford from 100 feet away.

Yep and back then all the American cars had style and class. Now they all look alike. Bland no style no class. Boring. Except for a select few and they still have no looks to them.

The Big 3 and their retro cars would have been better off making them as replicas of the older models IMO....like what Dynocorn is doing with the replacement body shells. Yes I'd gladly pay for a brand new 1969 Mustang or brand new 1969 Camaro as long as they had the lines of yesteryear but with modern day performance.

I would much rather see the replicas of the older models myself, I wish they could restyle the looks of a 1971-72 full size Ford/Mercury with modern day performance along with them restyling the looks of a 1971-72 full size GM car

The cars of the 60s & 70s are easy to work on plus you have room to work. Now a days its very tight under the hood. I do work on my 85 olds deta 88 but its not as easy as the cars i owned from the 60s & 70s.

I didn't like it when they've had to downsize these cars cause I really liked the big cars with long hoods and big V8 engines, I wish they can make cars that are easy to work on so more people are able to work on their vehicles

They could but they won't because they know they can make money if they make it so difficult to do that you have to pay to have it done.

It's really a shame as a lot of 80s+ cars won't be able to be brought back, but then again starting in the 80s and really even the 70s the styling of cars started to drop off.
