I'm looking for a place in Joliet which is around Black Rd/ Larkin Av in West Joliet.Any inputs on how safe the area is?

That area's safe.. For four and a half years, my paychecks were signed by people in a building right over there. I don't see any problem with that neighborhood.

Completely fine. I lived in a studio at Glenwood and Larkin for a little while - 2 blocks south of where you're asking about. Very quiet neighborhood for the most part.

Bevan Acres (just south of Black Rd and west of Larkin) is a great place for some to live.
