Cool Premarketing Your Home

I have been talking with some of my neighbors about premarketing their homes before they sell them. Many have used the popular real estate website Zillow - Real Estate Valuations, Homes for Sale, Free Real Estate Information. All of them have used the newer Make Me Move feature. Which allows you to post a price and upload photos of your home. The price is what someone would have to pay you to move out of your home. Some have used this for a few months now and not gotten any response. Some have even purchased advertising on the Zillow - Real Estate Valuations, Homes for Sale, Free Real Estate Information website. I was wondering if anyone has experienced success with zillow or any other service or if anyone has any ideas on how to premarket your home?

I just looked at Zillow of which I haven't looked at it in about a year and can tell you the information for my association/neighborhood is wrong. What zillow says the homes are selling for is about $20,000 less than what they have been closing at and those are my neighbors homes of which I am on the association board and recieve copies of what all the places are selling/closing at. Apparently Zillow's info is rather outdated.

Interesting. I have not seen big variations. I have seen crazy things like tip top condition lakefront homes 'zestimates' at $1.5 Million when they should be more lik $3 or $4 Million.
