My name is Joe, I have lived in Candlewick Lake Southeast going on 10 years in June, my main issue is noise at night. This noise I believe comes from a machine noise, this noise I hear mostly when everything has settled down from the days activity, although I do hear this during the day, when I really want to hear this. I find myself sleeping When I wake up, and hear this piston like sound very loudly, some how this noise settles down to a more level noise, I wonder if who ever runs this machine, also controls the rate of this machine. There are many levels of this machine noise I believe from a level from lets say 1 to 10. I go outside to listen, but out side is not the problem. Have inquired from CWL Association, with no positive result. I wonder if some how , lets say, there is a installation underneath my house that runs machinery, that is unknown to Candlewick Lake . For serious now, Have inquired from local water, and sewer department-with no positive result. Like I said, have heard this machine noise for almost 10 years. There was a time about 3 to 7 years ago when the truck stop 1,000 feet to the east was really a nuisance to my sleep at night, but that has somewhat cooled down, but not disappeared. Neighbors say they have no problem sleeping at night, guess my hearing is more accute. Thank You.

Joe, today 2-24-15, today machine noise (piston), was a 9 (from 1 to 10), noise kept me from sleep starting 3:30 AM, noise started loud, (like every .6 second), noise was adjusted after about 10 minutes from a 9 to a 4, but did not go away. I describe this noise as every .6 second as a repetitious hammer with an echo, and a vibration at the end, all happening every .6 second. Remember Candlewick Lake, has no idea what I am talking about, also local Water Dept (Aqua). This is a residential community no factories in my neighborhood, 1000 ft. east small truck stop, but not the noise I am hearing.

Joe, today 2-25-15, machine noise today was a 5, hearing same noise not as loud, what is making this noise? Frustrated at hearing same noise every day, how can the culprit keep doing this? Have lived in Chicago next to the elevated tracks 500 ft. away, not as annoying as this machine noise.

Can you record the noise and take it to the city to see if they can figure out what is causing it? Is there a machine shop near you?
