Hi Everyone! I'm moving to the Chicago area in the coming month and I am going to live in the Villa Park/Lombard area. I am completely new to the Chicago area and I'm trying to get a feel for what to expect. I will be commuting to the northern part of Elk Grove--Rt 83/Kingery Highway appears to be a straight shot for me to get to work. How is travel on this highway during rush hour? Any guesses on how long of a commute this might be? Thanks in advance for your help!

Route 83 can get backed up in the Elk Grove area during rush hours. Plan on arriving at work about 8 am. Give yourself at least 45" and then adjust accordingly after a week's experience.
