How about Roscoe Village or Belmont Craigin? Comments on those?
Roscoe Village is a lot of young families. Pretty quiet from what I can tell. Also convenient to shopping.

Belmont Cragin is still middle class, but seems to be going a bit downhill. A lot of people I know who grew up there moved out.

Seems to be going downhill? There is no question it already has started. Belmont Cragin is becoming low class with a good heaping side of gangbanger.

You have also claimed that countless other neighborhoods are going downhill, Portage Park, Galewood, etc...

I have? Where?

Portage Park (particularly the southern portion) is going downhill and Galewood is under siege.

If you can't see this I have no idea what to tell you.
