Were you scared because the men were Black? A similar thing could have happened on the North side. Imagine a couple of drunk white guys outside a Cubs game, or at Kingston Mines. What would you have done in those circumstances, if they had insulted your girlfriend?

Prisons are full of guys who felt disrespected, and solved it with a gun. The world of also full of single guys who's girlfriends have left them because the guy wasn't strong - no woman wants a wimp. You had best decide where on that spectrum you will fall, or stop going out late.
