Hi there…

I live in the West loop and I want to find a cheap parking somewhere between Greek town and United Center… the cheaper the better.. my car is quite old and I am ok if it’s outdoor.. so the question is how to find it and how much would it be?

What about street parking? is it possible?
If I don’t use car everyday… is there a chance that my car will be towed?
Do I need check it everyday?
Is it possible to buy/reserve a parking spot on a street… like a special sticker?

Thank you.

There are some streets in the area with free parking. Never taken me more than 5 min of looking to find a space.

The area between Greektown and the United Center is not the West Loop.

Correct, it's South Wicker Park.

LOL

here is what Wikipedia says:

While a portion of the Near West Side traditionally called West Loop Gate is frequently abbreviated to "West Loop," Chicagoans also use West Loop to refer to the portion of the Loop community area along the eastern bank of the Chicago River. It is bounded by Grand Avenue on the north, Ashland Avenue on the west, the Eisenhower Expressway on the south and the Kennedy Expressway on the east.

Your questions dont make a whole lot of sense, but ill try...

What about street parking? is it possible? Yes, its possible
If I don’t use car everyday… is there a chance that my car will be towed? Yes, if you park in a spot your not suppose to
Do I need check it everyday? thats up to you
Is it possible to buy/reserve a parking spot on a street… like a special sticker? You are not able to rent or purchase a a spot on a Chicago road, no.

If I were you I would look for a cheap outdoor lot

Greektown falls within those borders. So do you see the fallacy of what you are claiming? The United Center is not in West Loop. It is straight up in the Near West Side neighborhood.

The West Loop neighborhood ends at 90/94.

Furthermore, some real estate sharks are using propaganda to sucker in fools to buy in the ghetto close to the United Center. There is no "United Center" neighborhood either.

I said between Greektown and the United Center. Which is West Loop according to wikipedia: Ashland Avenue on the west,... Kennedy Expressway on the east. check the Map!

And you are right you can also find what is West Loop at any real estate web site... it ends at Ashland which is right by United center
