How early do I need to get to the Jay Pritzker Pavilion for a decent spot to see a concert on Saturday night? (Celebration of Dance in August) I saw on the website that the seats open 1 hour prior, but I've heard people say up to 3 hours.

Thanks

Default Millenniumm Park has lots of stickelers for rules...

...it is "patroled" not by just regular cops but a private security company. I've seen people with baby strollers chased off the silly bridge.

If it says on the event that "seats open 1 hour prior" I would have something to do nearby so that when it is PRECISELY 1 Hour you are ready to swoop in. Silly but that is what you gotta do...

To be honest, you can get a seat any time for most of the concerts. Something like a Beethoven symphony on a beautiful night will be a little tougher, but there will still be scattered seats. Thirty minutes will be plenty tomorrow night.

I just realized you're talking about the program Aug. 25th. Honestly, I think that will be a pretty sparsely attended event. It's not part of the Grant Park Concert series, so I think it will be primarily the performers' families and 200 dance fans.
