Hi

Am moving into Chicago by March 2007, and need some help with the following information:

- cost of living other than rentals (food, car, utilities etc)
- rent for a 2BR apartment in chicago - what are the good places to live in the city? (are furnished apts availablle, if yes for how much)?
- rent for a 2BR furnished apt in Chicago suburbs, say Naperville?

Thanks in advance!

This really depends on where in the city you are interested in living, how many people you're feeding, whether or not you get a place that includes heat or other utilities, where you're going to be parking your car, how much food you like to eat, etc. Where are you moving from? More info please!

The minimum wage in Illinois is $7.50. It will go up to $7.75 in July 2008.
