Me and my sister went to The Taste of Chicago last night to see the fireworks. I had a great time at the Taste, but in my mind I felt a little bit uncomfortable seeing too many people in groups of 10 people or more just hanging around trying too start trouble. I was asking did anyone that went to the taste last night felt somewhat unsafe?

Dud are u serious, I'm not even close to being Agoraphobia. If I was Agoraphobia, I wouldn't even went to the Taste all and I go just about every year. I'm just saying that I felt something bad was going to happen after the fireworks.

Something bad happens just about every year before, during, or after the fireworks. It does not take a genius to predict that. Because of the sheer volume of people that go there-something always happens.

No, I wasn't serious.
I didn't go to the Taste for fireworks this year, and haven't been for several. What was it that seemed different from years past? The times I've been, there's always been packs of seemingly mischievous young people.

Their were gang members hanging around at least 10 deep, I guess tryin to cause trouble ruin it for the families that was tryin to enjoy the Independence day , a couple of fights during the event, and then after the fireworks, 4 people got shot and all of them was from the age 15-19.

I didn't go, but after this shooting on the 3rd, I wouldn't be surprised if people with families bowed out of going to the fireworks, for a long while. You can see fireworks in the burbs as well - maybe not as good but so what. I will stick to going to the "taste" during the day now, thank you.
