Blacks in Humboldt Park
I acutally kinda noticed Chicago is pretty racially segreated in neighborhoods. And I know there's a decent black population in Humboldt Park. Is there any racial tension with blacks and hispanics in Humboldt park?

Racial tension between blacks and hispanics
In Humboldt Park, there is tension between blacks and hispanics but it is not seen. It is certainly there, and Humboldt Park is extremely segregated, block by block.
Puerto Ricans and Blacks get along fine for the most part, though Puerto Ricans generally view themselves as superior. They also view themselves as superior to Mexicans, generally because they have papers.
Mexicans and Puerto Ricans don't have the best relationship but basically get along, sometimes even living in the same buildings. You almost never see blacks and mexicans in the same smaller apartment buildings.
Blacks are viewed by Hispanics (Mexican and Puerto Rican) as the bottom of society in Humboldt Park and generally live in the southern parts. As you get south of grand and division it is almost entirely black and poorer. Much of the shootings and blue lights in Humboldt Park are between Division and Kinzie (southern border of Humboldt Park). This is an area to be avoided.
Most of the racial tension was between blacks and whites. Most of the whites have left, so the only whites with racial tension are the cops who work in Humboldt Park, very racist. I would be banned from this site for quoting half of the things they have said to me about blacks.

Why do you think the Cops say those things? What have their experiences with them been, do you think?

The fact is, human nature can produce some bad things. There are many people with those views. The police department doesn't test for that stuff, so many people who become police officers might have prejudice views.

Or they don't realize they have those views until 95% of the people they arrest are black and when they only deal with the dregs of society they begin to think all blacks are that way.

That can also be the case.

That is probably it. Most of us can't imagine the stress of being a police officer. Thank God that there are some folks who have the courage to try to defend law abiding, hard-working folks of all backgrounds against the criminal element. I would imagine that a lot of the comments officers may make when off duty, or when speaking to law abiding folks, are just "blowing off steam". There are plenty of black police officers out there, and many black officers feel even more strongly about black crime than white officers. In fact, I've heard black officers and security guards use the "n" word, and not in a kidding way, when referring to the young black male criminal element. Can you blame them? The real issue here is law abiding, hard working, honest folks vs. the criminal types, not one race vs. another. Plenty of these white rap music punks are more than just wannabes, and are just as bad as the black gangster punks. As long as the cops slam them to the ground and slap the 'cuffs on them the same as the black punks, there are obviously no racial issues at play.

in my eyes, "n word"s and blacks (or african americans to be PC) refer to two entirely different groups of people.
"n word"s exist in all racial groups, there just isn't neccessarily a designated word to refer to them as.

I totally agree. There are Ns in every society, whether we call it white trash or whatever, depending on the race. Maybe we should just say there is trash in every society.
Unfortunately, in areas like Humboldt Park, you have a disproportionately high number of black and hispanic trash, particularly black as the area becomes poorer and more black as you approach Garfield Park to the south and Austin to the west.
