I don't know how much more I can take but these Louisiana hicks do not know how to merge or change lanes. They will seriously creep up the on ramp and than wonder why they cant get on.
When they want to get over they just brake completely until they can find a spot.

Everyday I drive home I have to get on a ramp where you either merge on drop off to the right about 50ft below in the ditch (no guard rails)
The only time I fear for my life is when the idiots in front of me decide to slam on their brakes on the top of the ramp.

I am in hill billy hell

We manage, with about as many people who can't do it as you'd expect.

Ohioans are the people who couldn't merge if their miserable souls depended on it.

It's one of those things you notice time after time.

People here can certainly merge, but they also tend to create multiple lanes on two lane roads and engage in mini drag races from stoplights just to hop ahead a few places. Everybody's in a hurry.

Back to the topic. I know that in every state there will always be people who cant drive, merge, park etc but its just too much here. Seriously anytime I see someone who can actually drive they have out of state license plates.

I don't think Chicagoland is immune from people driving slow/slowing down on an entrance ramp - I see it with some regularity - but never have I seen anyone slam on the brakes and come to a complete stop - bumper to bumper traffic excluded.

yeah I know its pretty insane
the same people also love going slow in the fast lane.
The road I exit on is a 45 miles per hour and for some reason everyone else goes 30 miles an hour.
We pass at least two speed signs on the way and yet no one will go 45. I dont know why that is but its like that everywhere. I admit I am an impatient driver but I dont think its asking too much for people to drive the speed limit and merge properly

I have seen it! and it almost caused a wreck between me, the idiot that thought they should come to a complete stop while getting on 90/94 westbound at Randolph, and the person behind me. Not fun.
