I still subscribe and/or read:

-The Southtown Star
-The Chicago Tribune
-The Defender
-The Chicago Sun Times
-The Chicago Reader
-La Raza
-N'Digo

I enjoy having the morning coffee, whatever I am eating for breakfast, and a newspaper to read. I sometimes peruse the papers or w/e online when I have thrown one of them away or something.

I also get a lot of magazines...I need help, lol.

Newspapers: Tribune and WSJ for me.

More than likely I'll dump the Trib. Anyone have suggestions for city and Chicagoland news?

Thanks for the compliment. I mean, it's only part of my heritage.

Never have, never will. I don't think my generation is really in to newspapers. You are reading my father's paper. Google Gadgets provide me with all the up to the minute news I need.

OK, then what? I can remember reading 'Jet' in the fifties while my mom got here hair done. It was bad then, too.

Besides getting most of my news online, I do read The Economist and Wilson Quarterly (and sometimes Harper's Mag.)

Oh wow. Just sad.

I was never a big fan of the "great" editorial writing of the Beverly Review, or anything in that Bridgeport paper.

I don't know what you're talking about.

N'Digo needs some improvement, that's my point. The direction it goes in needs to be more focused and it needs to do more investigative items. Right now, its like Teesee's column in the Defender.

When's the last time that paper had an exclusive item or uncovered something new?
