Wow that's interesting!! Thanks for sharing that Hilgi. Who would of thunk that I would agree with anything Pat Robertson had to say these days! Geez, a little toke or possession of a little weed should not put people in prison for 10 years! He's so right about that, we must pick our battles and I have friends that use it for medicinal purposes, it really helps with their pain. It has real medicinal benefits and I wish America would recognize that.
Perhaps they'll change from being the 700 CLUB to the 4-20 CLUB :-) Yes, it is a cold day in hell when Pat Robertson says something that makes sense as he did in this case. I don't smoke pot myself, but why should people go to jail for it, ? How is it any different than drinking a bottle of wine?

Being from California I was exposed to the decriminalization movement years ago and it makes a lot of sense. I met many people whose lives were destroyed from very basic marijuana crimes, nothing about that seemed Godly or just.
If we want to stop the violence in Arizona and Mexico, decriminalize it and put the gangs and cartels out of business.
Ironically enough one of the biggest donors to the anti-legalization bill in CA last year were the marijuana growers, they knew that if it were legal, they would lose a lot of profits.
This is what happens when you let common sense run things and not some stretching interpretation of the bible.
