Christian Mission (Gospel, Bible, experience, science)

I'm looking into the possibility of pursuing a Christian mission. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge regarding how this process works? I've contacted Mission Finder: Classified Directories of Christian Missions Opportunities: Search Engine and Extensive Listings and am waiting to hear back. Ideally I'd love to teach.

Some background... My BS degree was in nutrition science. I tutored Biology, Anatomy/Physiology, and introductory Chemistry for about a year and a half at a college while taking pre-med prerequisites for PT programs. I'm currently studying the Bible under Chuck Missler's commentary, and would absolutely love to teach the gospel!!! Anyone have any experience or knowledge of this?

Be still and wait upon the Lord. If He wants you in the mission field, He'll bring the opportunity to you. You won't have to go looking for it.
