are they afraid of them or is the modern church not suppose to warn people about false teachers and questionable folks like Mike Murdock and Kenneth Copeland and Creflo Dollar and Robert Morris

I barely (if at all) see Christian Leaders publically denounce those false teachings,
in fact many well known christian leaders embrace or pander to the Prosperity Gospel and Domionist crowds
true, some may speak out, but most wont speak out cause many pastors have become scared it seems to speak out on false teachings like Domionism and the Prosperity Gospel
Pastor of a church I went to in the UK believed in the prosperity gospel, never preached it, wasn't on a salary and never shared his need, but always had more than enough.
Wow, that's cool. Like did he have more than enough items (like food, clothes, etc), or more than enough money to get said items?
Anyway, I found and came to the conclusion that many in the churches today are afraid to "name names" or "point out the darkness", as not to stir the pot or whatever you'd like to call it. I guess they don't want their members stirring their brains too much to think outside what they are being taught, whcih might make them question the very things of their own church.
Right, not rocking the boat. It can be the catalyst to cause people to think more and then it could spark a chain reaction once they start connecting things. It could be good or bad, depends on how you look at it.

I think he believed in the God spoken of in Deuteronomy 28
Care to explain what you mean by that? i think we're all talking about the same God here...
He believed in a God who is more than enough.
