Do any of you Christians wear any type of Christian symbol/image on you, such as Christian tattoos, Christian jewelry (cross, crucifix, head of Christ, Virgin Mary, etc.?
i am not really fond of wearing crosses. i will wear a shirt with a Christian theme, but not a shirt with a picture of a guy that is suppose to be Jesus.
I find it interesting there are a number of Musician "stars" that where the cross. Some have a nice gold chain with a huge cross while talking about all sorts of ungodliness. So I don't think much of it.
God doesn't care much for graven images. I really don't think He cares much for pictures of Jesus or crucifixes with "Jesus" on them. He wants us to remember Him through a living relationship not a picture or statue.
A little five year old girl I was watching saw one of the one's my mother had, and she picked it up and said "it's God". ... Well I thought it was cute, but it in reality this is the concern as God is a living God not found in a graven image made with Man's hands in man's own image.
For this reason, I don't care for Mary statues either and I certainly do not like the idea of bowing down in Catholic church services.
I think I still have a few Christian T-Shirts around. At one time I made and sold T-Shirts. It's not something I ware on a regular basis. No cross's or emblems on the car. I don't wear jewelry at all so none of that. And no tattoos of any type in my household what-so-ever.
Yes. And some of my nicest Christian jewelry and art has been given to me as gifts by non-Christian friends.
