all we can do is to try to give it our best in this life journey. even knowing that we can never be perfect or without sin but you still try to live as best you can by the word.

Well , I certainly do not think of myself as a filthy rag nor did Isaiah say that. He said in the sight of a perfect and HOLY God all of my DOINGS, since they are all tainted by the sin I inherited because I'm a son of Adam are as filthy rags.

We are commanded by Jesus to love our neighbour as we love ourselves. Now since the Lord tells me I must love myself as I love others I'm not about to beat myself up because I'm not perfect. I'm of such infinite value to the creator of the universe that he came to earth as a lowly humble child, born in a stable, was a homeless itinerant preacher and teacher and ultimately was crucified on a cross all for my sake. He loves me and accepts me unconditionally, intercedes for me continually as I mess up here in this world and will some day take me to paradise to live with him forever. How else could I try to show my gratitude and love for him but by trying my best to obey his commands?

PS, "There is NO CONDEMNATION for those who are in Christ Jesus".

The relationship I understand is that of obedience , that can only be known through a relationship, knowing His voice.
A man that loves God isn't looking for excuses to live at the limits of the law written to other men, rather to be lead of the Holy Spirit in a life ,not his own, by his choosing to Love God.
Jesus gave the Holy Spirit to teach in His place, so a man could obey God person to person.

Men with out love for God, but believe that by religion can manipulate God , and presume their education among men is a legidiment substitute.

That is not God's way.

The lack of obedience is sin. there for all have sinned no mater how well the keep law.
Self govern is sin , because it lacks God's personal interactive instruction.

Self govern depends on the letter, not on a relationship.
Every time Israel failed they were doing what was right in their own eyes.
Moses failed when he disobeyed God , and that disobedience kept him from entering the promised land.
Adam failed when he choose to disobey God .
Joshua did not fail, turning to God for every instruction coming into the promised land.
Jesus said :"I only do what My Father instructs Me."
Seeking God's instruction in ones every day life is what this is all about.
By Granting God that much influence in a persons life, then he can make a big difference, working in concert with God's plan
rather then attempting to make God fit into ones own plans.

Wicked men resent God, because God does not do things the way the wicked want, in their own reasoning.
Like a clay pot arguing with the potter , "why did you make me this way ?"
or the ant arguing with the river that just washed his home away.
The river gives life so long as one works in concert with it .

God is not going to promote some ones drug addiction or abuse to their design or behaviors related to deceit and lies .
Though men wear a label, does not obligate God to endorse their behavior. be it in scriptures or not.

Matthew 7;21,22,23 Jesus will judge , and His endorsement will not be according to how much you know in manipulating the power of Jesus Name for miracles, but in one's obedience to the Father via the Holy Spirit.
The law of the Father in in ones daily walk, just as Jesus was obeying the law of the Father, in His ministry.
Sinlessness is the perspective of God, and one's own obedience to Him.
As an example .
By divine providence, a person I am to help, is stranded on the road, I am instructed to travel.
Before I even reach the area I am given a heads up on meeting some one on the road by God , and as time passes , sure enough as I round a turn there he is.
The choice to stop is still up to me , I am still in control of the vehicle.
I could reason that stopping might endanger my self or those with me, or that I would not have the means necessary to meet his need, or I am in a serious hurry, or the list goes on for excuses .
OR I recognize the situation is my business, and I make the stop .
Every time, God has given me, the where with all, to make difference in that situation .
I cannot manipulate this knowledge of what's on the road ahead of me, nor if the timing will be right to be there in time .
I am simply not that smart .

Have I failed in the past?
yes I have failed.

But my heart is there to strive to obey ,and God always blesses me when I do .
I'm sure that He knows when I will falter, but it is wrong to count on that, I know.
I don't know that it is so, but I feel like sometimes, that some one's prayer, missed getting answered due to my failure.
For that I apologize .
Sin here, would be choosing to disobey.
But sin is also there if I fail to ask.and Fail to listen ,
By self govern, even knowing all scriptures, fallowing all laws, one may still be with out the relationship God intends us to have
failing to ask and failing to listen.
One cannot Honesty call Him Lord, if one does not know His voice.
Jesus said we are accountable for every single word we speak.

Common positions of the sinless Christian. They are better than sinners by default. They are smarter than sinners. They know the Bible better than sinners. They do not congregate with sinners, 'cause they do not attend church. They are condescending to sinners. They attack the belief system/religion of sinners. They tell you what God "really" said. They never raise sinners up. They believe sinners are the "least" in their eyes.

Think about the tactic ... and who would do that? Expect denial next. Matt 25:31-46

...just sayin'

Simply not true
I think if you check through posts where sinners are getting it in the ear, it is by those who say that the bible is inerrant, that if you don't believe you end up in eternal hell,by those who have no idea how to act and react around those they deem sinners, who have nothing to say to them but shoot bible verses at them and tell them Jesus loves them , who attack everyone who denies their position of what they believe about their religious system, claiming they are being persecuted , who tell you what they think the bible is saying, in general they speak far more about sin, judgement and punishment than the love, grace and mercy of a God,who have no idea how to lift up those who miss the mark, and proof that they consider them(them they deem sinners) least in their own eyes is they will not associate with them unless they believe what they do.
As for me,I simply refuse to call anyone a sinner, more so not to give satisfaction to all those who do.
Just sayin

I don't think you can sin from your spirit. If we sin, it is always from our corrupted bodies and the fleshly mindset. So if we learn to live from our born again spirit, renewing our minds, then absolutely we can live without ever sinning.

I believe we can strive with our best effort to live a lifestyle free from sin, but not actually go the rest of your life without committing a sin, as we are human beings bound and prone to mistakes. I even gave an example of how someone did something very ignorant on the road and I gave them the bird and words towards the driver that i should not have used and was told that wasnt a sin, but a mistake. So according to that logic, cursing in not a sin, breaking the laws of the land by going 25mph over the speed limit isnt a sin, or downloading free music & movies off shareware sites which falls under copyright infringement are not sins either, considering they have been guilty of 2 or 3 of what I listed.

So do you believe you can actually live completely sin free and not commit one sin after you are saved since we have been delivered from sin??

Now if those guys say they are keeping Torah, then they are sinning all the time. The Torah was designed to bring sin out.

I am taught that sin is the absence of obedience to God personally.
The alternative is to obey God personally.
But one cannot obey with out knowing His voice, with out having a relationship, with out having His Lordship.
Jesus made this possible , aside from Jesus, this would not have been possible.
"Except you become as little children ,you will in no case enter the kingdom of heaven "
It's not biased on intellect because a little child hasn't the capacity.
It is based on Obedience , which a little child is completely dependent.
How dependent ?
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled.
Righteousness is obedience to the Father.
Not assumed through men pretending to circumvent God, but through the Holy Spirit Jesus designated.

Thats why we have grace for when we do break the law and commit a sin. But we are also not to abuse grace either.

Faith is the access to Grace as Paul showed. If you commit sin, then you show that you didn't believe that Christ had the power to put down sin in your own flesh. Therefore, you lack that faith that grants access to the Grace.
