Could many end-timers misinterpreted the beasts of Revelation Chapter 13 for the antichrist? I read Revelation, and I could not find any mentioning about the antichrist. I learned that the beasts represent empires, not individuals. Daniel Chapter 7 can be used as reference.
Dear grasshopper, There is no anti-Christ in Daniel or Revelation. The animals of Rev 13 are parallel with the animals of Daniel 7 lion = Babylon bear = Persia Leopard = Macedonia beast with large teeth and 10 horns = Rome The first 10 horns being the Augustus Caesars from Octavius to Titus, who destroyed Jerusalem
The first 4 heads of beast with 7 heads were: 1. Nebachednezzar of Babylon who conquered Jerusalem 2. Cyrus the Great of Persia who rebuilt Jerusalem 3. Alexander the Great of Macedonia whose general conquered Jerusalem 4. Pompey of Rome who conquered Jerusalem. 5. Julius Caesar, who overcame the Trimvirate, which included Pompey and became dictator of Rome, previously a Republic, and will try and conquer Jerusalem as the 8th head of the beast, the "the beast which was and is not, is himself also an eight," (Rev 17:11). The second Caesar will also have 10 horns, 10 kings who will have power for one hour. Examples being Czar (Russian for Caesar), Kaiser (German for Caesar). These will be as the 10 toes of Daniel 2. They will be crushed by a stone (kingdom of God)
The only one who fits the description of the anti-Christ would be the 7th head of the beast of Rev 17:10, the one "who has not come" at the time of the writing of Revelation. And this beast will subdue 3 kings to consolidate his power. This king, who was Pontiff Maximus, and who changed the law and the times, was Constantine. He convened the Council which established a Roman church which incorporated the beliefs of his pagan subjects, and as written in Rev 7:24-25, subdued 3 kings, Daia, Severus, and Licinius to consolidate his power. Per Rev 7:24-25, he will also make alterations to the times and the Law, for in 321 A.D. he made a decree making the "day of the sun", Sunday, the day of rest. His Council of Nicene, initiated the creed which has become the basis of "Christian" faith.

for some that are very much against the practice of modern medicine the beast who serves the dragon, he, the beast, works many miracles. to those opposed to modern medicine they call the works of the beast materia medica, modern medicine based on physicality where spiritual or mental issues do not figure in whatsoever.
on a personal note i do like some things in revelations. the mark of the beast sounds a lot like tattoos. 40% of young people have them. most i see with tattoos act like beasts so that all makes sense to me.
