Dear hijc,
With respect to the "Word" and the "Life", the last supper tells us that the "Word", "the bread of life", must be consumed without the leaven of hypocrisy, and that it is to eaten with the wine, which is the semblance of blood, where the Spirit of Life dwells. Many of your preachers can recite the "Word", weighted down with the traditions of men, and yet they have no power, nor Spirit of God. They are the shepherds with "no understanding" (Is 56:11) Yeshua fore told that the tares would be mixed with the wheat, yet no one seems to understand what he is plainly saying. The good is mixed with the bad.
The Problem with the "Christian" church is that they have the "Word" contaminated with the leaven of men, and the Spirit of Revelation seems to be absent. They argue over minutia, and yet do not comprehend the weightier elements of the Testimony of Yeshua, and indeed they nail it to the cross and replace with that of a self professed apostle and prophet. (John 5:31) Outsiders seem to see the hypocrisy of the "Christian" church, yet insiders seem to be lulled to sleep with regards to the double/minded hypocrisy of the "Christian" church. I don't think it will end well with those who do not worship God with their whole mind, body, and Spirit, and turn all reasoning over to the church leaders (Mt 13:10). This kind of story has a bad ending.
