Here is what Jesus said about the people that are given the kingdom of God. They produce the fruits of the kingdom.
Matthew 21:43 NRSA
Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people that produces the fruits of the kingdom.
Don't you think this verse is speaking about a works based theology?
What do you think the fruits of the kingdom are?
It is NOT the spouting of Bible verses all day long. It is "Love God and each other" daily and repent when you don't.
The parable refers to the coming change (at that time) where God's focus would be on the Gentile nations rather that the Jews as it had been up to that point.
No, that verse is part of the parable. It is about obedience
The parable is about obedience but Jesus was speaking directly to the priests and elders in that statement. The parable was a story about others but was really speaking about them. So I disagree that it was part of the parable because Jesus was speaking directly to them not about others as the parable did..

This will be interesting as it speaks of:
Produces, thus evidence Fruits, more than just claimed love but action Kingdom, which includes allegiance, obedient and the promoting of that kingdom
It isn't a works based theology it is an active life with works of faith in obedience to God and His Son. Producing fruits.
