While I have been having dreams that I believe to be prophetic as a Bible believer since I was 18 (and I'm 30), I feel compelled to share my most recent:
Last night, (and I dare to call it a dream as it was more of a 2 second vision while I slept), I saw a young woman (ages 20-30 maybe) with her tongue cut out. Then I heard a deep, audible voice (which woke me). The voice was almost synthetic/mechanical and did not sound human. It said simply, "You'd better get used to it."
I awoke shaken and praying and confident in its meaning: A radical silencing of the Church is coming to America SOON!
Sadly, Troutdude.... your response pins you as one who has not read the Bible, so why bother attempting to engage in a conversation about such things? 1 Corinthians 2:14- "The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit."
It's like a first grader attempting to discuss neuroscience Read the Word and get back to me! I look forward to scholarly discussion.
Re: Matthew 24: 9-14, Acts 2:17, Amos 3:7, 1 John 4:1, James 1:4, Job 33:14
Perhaps it is the perception that your conclusion appears to be alarmist and without basis in any facts or attitudes other than that of those who use the church as a platform for their prejudices.

Hi Nate,
Here is simply one of the many examples in the last two or three years that is current to our country:

Should you like more examples to provide "basis", I'll be happy to send them!

How does on have a scholarly discussion about your dreams?
If this is what you are talking about, you only strengthen my concern about the people who use the church as a platform for their prejudices. I'd be willing to bet at this point that your other examples are of the same quality, but if you would like to list a few we can talk about their merits.

Sadly, short812, your response pins you as one who has exchanged reason for the words of long-dead, primitive scribes who falsely believed they were channeling God.
It's like a person in pre-school who's read one primer and thinks they understand literature.
Get back to me when you can converse without using someone else's words.
