Jesus was born a man, he was also temped as a man so that he knows what men go through, he only rejected the temptation.
Don't feel bad. I would say 99.9% of non-Catholics do not know what is the Immaculate Conception. However, they feel free to give an opinion.

Mary had to be free of sin so she could carry Jesus in her womb. If Jesus is God then he cannot be inside a dirty womb. Or be born through a mundane vagina.

And Sola Scriptura folks love to say Mary was just a nobody. But, she was the Mother of God and therefore deserves respect.

Why didn't Mary's mom have to be free from sin so that she could be, as well?

IMMACULATE CONCEPTION - being born without original sin, or the tendency/addiction to sin.
Luke 1:46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, 47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

That's Mary confessing her need for God as her Saviour.

1 Corinthians 15:21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Original sin brings about death and so Mary had died, confirming that she was born with the original sin like every one else except for Jesus Whom was concieved of the Holy Ghost.

Matthew 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. 20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

That confirms what the role of our Saviour was sent to do as Mary needed Him just as much as we did.

She was blessed more than any woman that ever lived, in that she carried the Son of God in her womb. She absolutely deserves respect.

But she was not sinless. The Bible says otherwise.

God holds us accountable but He is responsible for our salvation and will in time save everyone. However, the this want happen until the fullness of the gentiles comes. This means there needs to be a further rise in Anti Christian views and beliefs and further counterfieting of the faith through false preachers and doctrines.
was mary a sinner? what did she need saving from?

By definition the mother of God has to be sinless. God cannot be associated with sin in any shape or form.

Please quote where in the bible it says Mary was a sinner.

Prove that, please. And also please show me where the "mother of God" has to be sinless, but the mother of the "mother of God" would not have to be.

And while you're at it, can you show me where the Bible says that God was conceived of her? The Son is eternal -- he has always existed and always will. He was not conceived in her womb. The human nature of Jesus was conceived in her womb, but not God.

Really? The Bible says that Jesus took our sin.

Please quote where in the bible it says Mary was a sinner.

Romans 3:10-12 "as it is written:

“None is righteous, no, not one;
11 no one understands;
no one seeks for God.
12 All have turned aside; together they have become worthless;
no one does good,
not even one.”"

Romans 3:23. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

And, as has been quoted above, she declared God to be her savior. What do you think God saved her from?

Of course she was a sinner. There was only one man without sin and that was our Lord and Savior - Jesus Christ. He is the only one that can save us from our sins.

That depends on if you're asking a Catholic or a non-Catholic. Catholics believe she was conceived without sin and remained sinless throughout her life. There will be PLENTY of non-Catholics joining this thread to tell you the Catholics are wrong.

Merry Christmas. Because nothing says "Christmas" like people arguing about Jesus's mother.
