I want to see what Christians think about this question, so please do not answer my poll if you are not a Christian.

However, I welcome comments from everyone.

I am going to ask the same question in the Judaism and Islam forums.

No, other than of course God, who is described as my "father" in Scripture "our father who art in heaven ....". God is not human.

Sorry, I hadn't thought about that belief.

By non-human, I mean a creature that is somewhat like an animal living today - maybe a monkey, dog, or squirrel.

Or do we really believe dinosaurs never existed?

Then neanderthals were fictitious as well?

Hiker, you forgot to have a 3rd option for those of us who are unsure. I am inclined to believe in evolution and that we are related to all the animals God created. But I'm not absolutely sure about that. I once felt I had a vision of it to be honest. I mean a spiritual vision of how we are all connected and that we are related to all the other animal species. But I've never shared that before. If you have ever had a spiritual vision, you might be able to relate to how it is not a full revelation but a glimpse of something profound.

Whatever has been created on this planet, evolved from it.

Sounds wonderful, Heart_Song.

I wouldn't doubt for a moment that you did have a vision. What a lovely message.

At one time our ancestors may have visited from different planets.

Now, that would fly in the face of, or go against Religion.
