The state has no right to dictate church messages. The state has no right to dictate the statements of a man's conscience - even if it embarrasses the state.

I lived there for seventeen years. Attended both colleges and universities there. For the most part Kentucky is about like Alabama or Mississippi. No one was more surprised than me that they would have an ecumenical view for prisoners.
But I'm proud of the state. It, too, may be coming out of the backwoods.
No "church" message has been dictated to pastors. A message about what pastors can say in prison has.
