I read the article, and I am uncertain what cross is being carried. Someone's death? No, we walk hand in hand, and I follow them to the brink. Providing ease? That is a natural, human inclination. Offering comfort? Again, a natural inclination. Providing an examination of different ways of dying? Perhaps, but understand too, there are many who cannot go that way - should they be condemned for such a limitation? I don't forget about those who yield 100%, but there are also those who can offer only 50% or 20%. Their sacrifice, voice, capacity is just as fruitful for them. Are we speaking about hospice, keeping someone home and out of the nursing facility? Again, some cannot offer the same and we should not cast aspersions on them for their limitation - it cannot come from their heart, not because they don't have one but are not so equipped to address it. Are all prophets, teachers, do all have the gift of tongues? Yeah, kind of like that.

I am really uncertain what cross is being carried. Please clarify your point. I think the greatest gift is dying for a friend, and while Christ died even for his enemies, there is nothing like that which I can ascertain from the article. Sacrifice? But again, it is a gift or limitation that comes from G-d, and I do not criticize those who cannot.

I am certain the article is not about criticizing anyone, it's about helping others carry their cross and we all have one to carry. Some can help more than others and those who cant help as much do what they can.

Actually Jesus Holy Spirit will honor the prayers asking forgiveness for others in the Judgment that Jesus need for to bless people .............. See Jesus forgives sin and Holy Spirit will judge the prayer for Jesus .................. So you can carry the cross to Jesus for other people through Your prayers and Jesus will hold back blessing for people unless they repent , or then Christians ask forgiveness for them and Judgment of Jesus will judge the person by the cross of Christ and blessing will flow Glory to God ....

Still not clear on what cross is being carried... It is a good article about death and dying, but I don't see a cross in that. It is human compassion, on whatever level a person can muster. Is affective reality now a cross? Is the antithesis anomie and a cold, blank stare? I am still trying to wrap my mind/being/soul around this and I'm coming away empty. I don't see a strong connection between the two or it has not been extrapolated adequately.

We all have crosses to carry. You don't have any hard issues in your life? Not many of us can say the same thing. Like Jesus said, "pick up your cross and follow me."
