doctrines traditionally held sacred to denominational Christians, it's never a qualified fuel for the patho -logical (mentally ill) ISIS to behead them not in any way loot them and displace them. We fellow christians may disagree with doctrines ,but we remain brothers and sisters in one common thread the direct relationship with the Son of Man Jesus Christ.. This is not understood by these poorly educated ,disenfranchised, nutty, pagans! We may unintentionally bash fellow Christians ,but never with the mindset of persecution ,never a lack of charity, but tactful debate always looking at our own dirt, sins and flaws!!! ISIS demands dumping your faith!! My answer is go away Satan!!!
See some Christians were barbarian during the 1500s reformations were whole masses of Protestants were massacred and whole masses of Catholics were massacred , ............but since then Christians went through the Victorian age where people preferred to be civilized ,.............. then liberal people who are bias leaned to looking down at people who turned to war and held a pride against brutal people ............... During the crusade of the 1400s Islam people where civilized and the European Christians fighters were the barbarians .....................isis barbarians lean to the Shiite faction of Islam and not any other religions are tolerated but the Shiite Islam with legalism of their doctrines ....... I remember a prophetic Word from Jesus which one interpretation of 666 was that Islam dominated people took the Temple of Jerusalem and was changing the building during the years 666 AD... Giving reference that Christianity and Jewish faith had some discernment of this loss in History
Mike, think RADICAL Islam/ISIS is not that much aware of and in any case cares even less about what they would likely consider the petty squabbles of "polytheist" (Trinitarian), idolatrous, unbelievers (Christians) of ANY kind. their version of "utopia" seems to involve a society where state and church are one ("the Caliphate") and all are Muslim governed in any and all ways by Sharia law with heretics (Shi'ites OR Sunnis depending on whose in control) and unbelievers (Christians and non-Muslims of any kind) ultimately converted, marginalized, or eliminated. OTOH (and I think as you are already saying), Christians of ANY kind should be praying (and working) for the safety, healing, protection, and any other good thing for any other Christian (whether they agree with their theology or not) in potential or eminent danger there or any place else. probably while they're at it they should be doing exactly the same for anybody else of any culture or creed that is in need or danger Christian or not!!! .
