The Pope will look out across the White House lawn and see a broad representation of ALL Americans. Not just the Americans the far-right fundamentalists approve of. We are a melting pot, a tossed salad, a jumble. Let the Pope see that reflected in a variety of smiling faces welcoming him to our country.
I can't fathom why this welcoming of Pope Francis is upsetting to anyone. You have to be downright ornery to find this story even remotely irritating. Slow day for stuff to complain about?

It's because the sky IS falling..........or not. Some people gotta find an insult in anything, they would complain if they were hanged with a new rope.
Women who crash events and are bare-breasted with women rights slogans painted on their body..
I believe they are mostly Ukrainian*, or some Ukrainians started the movement. Although I don't know tons about them, I find them to be brave and admirable in their defiance against fundamentalist thought that consigns women to 2nd-class status.
I'd call them "ballsy" but if you Google Image them, you'll see that's inappropriate. But maybe "breasty" will become the female equivalent term now.
*My heritage is Ukrainian, so I'm predisposed to notice stuff mentioning it.
