I have had a hymn's tune stuck in my head for a while, and I cannot pinpoint the name.
On the piano, it is (or at least one version) C-F-G-C, C-F-G (x2)
Chorus is: C-F-G-Am-F-G-C
I apologize for my piano amateur status, but the best way to clarify more than that is to say: C-CCCF means that you strike C once with a pause then it CCCF without a pause.
The rhythm is like C-CCCF, G-GGGC, C-CCCC, F-FFFG
Chorus rhythm is C-CCCF, G-GGGAm, F-FFF, G-GGG, C
I hope someone out there has a good ear for this, because I am just learning this song by humming so again forgive my lack of piano terms.

I can't help based on the above information, but while you don't know the name of the title, do you know any of the words of the Hymn? Is it an older hymn, or a more modern one? You could try going on YouTube and type in 'Hymns' and just listen to one hymn after another and maybe stumble upon it. That's about the only thing I can suggest.
It's difficult to determine since it's not clear whether you're listing the chords or melody line, plus other aspects of pitch and timing are missing.
Best way is to use an app or tune recognition approach. There was one method I found once that simply tracked whether a melody went up or down or stayed on the same note - every tune has a unique pattern in that regard. I think the 'sing it' type apps will have replaced the pattern method by now.

Ha, yeah, after reading my initial post, it was quite confusing, sorry.
The hymn was "Glorify thy Name." I recalled the instrumental version from a Maranatha Singers CD from my childhood, and I found it online. Thanks for trying though.
It's such a common progression it could have been hundreds of songs. I also think that there is an E on the chorus, like Age-enduring posted.
The rhythm should also have two pauses, not just one.
