A story of power and control, forcing your beliefs on that of another.
You can only give freely; not being under the control of someone else.

When you ask for nothing in return.

I'm sorry....I will not apologize for being a Christian that loves people and want to pray for them. Likewise, I will not criticize a fast food store manager for praying for and giving food to a homeless man.

God does not want people to be held hostage. The fast food manager did not give from his heart. He had strings attached.

There should never be strings attached when someone is begging for food. None.

The homeless man could have simply walked out. In any event, I cannot imagine the store manager not giving him food regardless. Seriously....I'm amazed at how people love to rant about Chik-fil-a.

Easy for you to say.

Homeless people LIVE with hunger. It's a never-ending presence in their lives. Hunger does not allow the homeless to "simply walk out" from a chance to have something to eat.

That just goes to show you where your heart is.

Yet we are taught that that is just what G-d did...Held people hostage until someone came to redeem them...

I get that. I really do. But I honestly doubt that the store manager would have refused to give him food if he didn't want prayer.

I don't think you do. People who get it would never say a hungry, homeless person could "just walk out."
